I know I promised a few weeks ago that I was done pestering people about FAQ issues.
I lied.
Or, to sound more like a Senator, circumstances and events have required a revision of my previous stance.
Allow me to explain.
There have been a number of changes in the last month or so to the site. The two big ones have been the new search engine (thanks to jotter) and the new comment system (thanks to peeder). In parallel with this, the host software powering dkosopedia has been upgraded (thanks to The Centerfielder).
I think I've updated everything so that the FAQ is now in correspondance with kossian reality, but if I've missed anything, or made some mistake, or whatever, please let me know. Also, if there are subjects that people feel need greater coverage, I'd appreciate hearing about that as well.
A summary of the main changes:
- New section (a few weeks old, but relatively new) on Search
- A new section on technical problems. Right now, mainly a list of the supported browsers for the New Comments
- Rewrite of the comment ratings section
- More detail in the Comments section and Writing Comments section to cover the new stuff
